Hello! We are Kevin and Brooke Carrington, a recently married couple with an appreciation for reading and the creators of Quill Quotes. We both grew up in the Midwest and started dating in 2007. Since then, we’ve graduated from high school and Iowa State University together, moved to Los Angeles, and married in 2017.
Quill Quotes
We’ve always loved books but often failed to read consistently and discuss the stories as much as we would like in our daily lives. That’s where the idea for Quill Quotes started, as a fun way to get us to read more and delve deeper into the stories while sharing with other people, which is half the fun. We believe everyone can benefit from reading more and discussing their favorite books, a belief summarized best by one of our favorite quotes:

I’m Brooke and I love reading and I love babbling on about books. That’s why I am very excited that my husband, Kevin, convinced me to help create Quill Quotes with him. I like a wide range of books that vary depending on my mood. I’m a fan of any good writing but my top three favorite genres are horror, mysteries, and thrillers. Additionally, I enjoy sci-fi and have read through most of Michael Crichton’s books, with Andromeda Strain and Jurassic Park being my favorites. I also enjoy Stephen King, but his books can get a little too dark and I need to space them out with less sinister reads. My “to read pile” is already a mile high and I’m always adding to it. I hope you all enjoy hearing me babble on about my favorite quotes and books.
